Note
  1. If devotees need a second priest for a function then subject to priest availability, the total charges will be double the normal charges that apply. For instance if a devotee wants two priests for a Homam in the temple, the total charges are $150+$15+$15 = $180.
  2. For devotees requesting multiple services per temple visit or per house call, the total charge is the sum of full rate for the most expensive service and 50% of the normal charges for each additional service. The dakshina amount is 20% of the total charge. For instance for a devotee requesting Satyanarayana Puja and Ganapati Homam in his/her house, the donation to the will be ( $151 + .5( $125)) = $ 213. The priest dakshina would be .20 x $213 = $42.
  3. The temple donation for out-of-town visits (places outside a one and half hour commute) is $ 300 per day (computed from the time the priest leaves the temple). The dakshina amount is 20% of the total charges. Out-of-town visits are subject to the availability of priests.
  4. For requests for priest's overnight stay for devotees within commuting distance add $ 100 to the total charges and $ 20 to the recommended dakshina. Priest's overnight stay is subject to the availability of priests.
  5. It is the responsibility of the devotee to pick up the priest from the temple in time before the Puja starts and to drop the priest back to the temple in time after the Puja is over. In case the Priest drives (only within commutable distance from the temple), he shall be reimbursed transportation costs at the rate of $0.50 per mile.
