Sri Siva Vishnu Temple is proud to celebrate a major milestone in 2009: its Silver Jubilee anniversary.
The temple's Balalaya Prathistapana occurred in 1984; since then, we have completed construction, installed 17 deities,
built and consecrated a magnificent 56-foot Rajagopuram embodying the unity of Siva and Vishnu, and seen an enormous growth
in the congregation. This 25th anniversary celebration will incorporate all of the elements of the temple and represents its past, present, and future. Major religious functions will occur alongside cultural events, educational and youth programs,
and, in the spirit of giving, numerous social and community events. Sri Siva Vishnu Temple is now a familiar part of the Washington,
DC landscape and illustrates the growth of Hinduism in this nation over the past 25 years. Please support this anniversary to be held
over 25 weeks to celebrate 25 years by becoming a sponsor of the Silver Jubilee celebrations.
